If you are looking for a free domain & web hosting for practice purposes then this tutorial is for you. In this WordPress tutorial, I will tell you how you can use free sub domain and web hosting to install WordPress to do practices. Follow steps below
FREE DOMAIN & WEB HOSTING AT 000WEBHOST
Google 000webhost or open link in.000webhost.com then check website does it still allowing free web hosting or not (at the time of this tutorial they allowed). At this time they are giving 300 MB storage that is good for practice.
Then create account (3) or log in (4) if already have an account. You can use social accounts for log-in and sign-up as well in 000WEBHOST.
CREATE NEW SITE
Click over Create New Site at top left of the screen, then a dialog box popup. Enter password & website name you want which will be followed by “.000webhostapp.com”. Then click Create.
FREE SUB DOMAIN & 300MB WEBHOSTING
For example I create wordpress-pija, then my website link will be “https://wordpress-pija.000webhostapp.com”
This means I have created a sub domain in 000webhostapp.com, Because it for practices purpose let it be, If you want a dedicated domain like myidea.com or myidea.org, you can buy domain and web hosting.

INSTALL WORDPRESS IN 000WEBHOST
After completion of last step this page appears, click over Install under WordPress.
Then again a popup appears, which ask for Admin username and Password. Default Username is “admin” and password you can select of your choice, then click Install to start Installation. If all went good then after few minutes WordPress will successfully install. Wait for 2 minutes so that all back end setup get completed.
Note down this Username and Password you will need this at the time of wordpress login.
LOG IN TO WORDPRESS ADMIN PAGE
After installation you will see a button ‘Go to configuration page’ click over this or go to the URL examples for domain name I choose that is wordpress-pija
ENTER LOGIN CREDENTIALS
Default Username was admin, if you didn’t changed, then Password you noted. Thats all done you can visit your website link, like https://name.000webhostapp.com/
