Here your PC will run as server and changes you make will only visible to your PC.

DOMAIN & WEBHOSTING
You are familiar with the word domain, and heard different domain names like google.com, amazon.com, facebook.com, brandname.com, brandname.in, brandname.org etc.
In simple words, Domain is an address which you give to your client to visit, while web hosting is the space where you make your building for visitors, means where you store your content.
For example, you bought a domain “pijaeducation.com” then what you want, website content like images or information about your business, right. We know images and content need memory to get store, same as in our mobile phones they need memory.
But in your mobile only you can see your content but in case of website we want content to be visible 24×7 to viewers. For this we need a web hosting (aka server), where we depot our all content so that user can fetch data from there.
Shared web hosting or server is just a high configuration computer where we store data. Data includes web files, Database and images etc.
As we don’t need complete server for a small website we will opt for shared web hosting, where different users pay for what plan they opted in terms of memory like 1GB, 5GB, 10GB etc.
Some web hosting providers are Hostgator, Bluehost, Hostinger etc.
When you purchase domain and web hosting you need to link them using DNS address. Then we will start creating website using WordPress.
