Arduino Software installation for windows

Here you can see there is a download link available for different OS (operating systems), here I will show the steps for windows OS to install Arduino IDE.

ARDUINO SOFTWARE INSTALLATION FOR WINDOWS

STEP 1 – VISIT ARDUINO OFFICIAL WEBSITE

Open Google or any browser and open this URL or click on “https://www.arduino.cc”

STEP 2 – NAVIGATE TO DOWNLOADS

Go to Software tab and select DOWNLOADS option

STEP 3 – SELECT YOUR ARDUINO SOFTWARE PACKAGE

Select the version accordingly.

Click on “Windows Installer, for Windows XP and up” (for admin) see in diagram above. If you don’t have admin rights you can download by clicking “Windows ZIP file for non admin install” (if you don’t know which one to download click non admin install)

STEP 4 – CLICK TO START DOWNLOAD

Then you will be redirected to another web-page, where you were asked to download with contribution or without, choice is up to you. Click on “CONTRIBUTE & DOWNLOAD” or “JUST DOWNLOAD” to start download

STEP 5 – RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR

A zip file has been made after downloading. Right-click on zip file and select “Run as administrator”

STEP 6 – AGREE TERMS & CONDITION

Click on (1) “I Agree” and then click (2) “Next” and click on (3) “Install” button.

STEP 7 – ARDUINO SOFTWARE INSTALLATION COMPLETE

The installation is in process and after completion click on the “Close” tab. The Arduino icon shows on your desktop.

That’s you successfully installed Arduino IDE on your PC …
